Working on Critical Thinking skills using the computer lab works of an Engineering subject

چکیده

A practical intervention was devised in order to promote and assess Critical Thinking undergraduate students of Engineering. First, collaboration with specialists education, the concept Thinking, its skills dispositions on which focus on, determined. Second, a teaching strategy designed be as effective possible, considering limitations intervention. This took advantage computer lab sessions where discussion questioning encouraged development Thinking. Then, instruments acquired attitudes were developed. Finally, quantitative analysis results conducted evaluate validity reliability strategy. paper presents full description carried for two years. Besides desired effects students’ performance, some conclusions regarding appropriate deal large group are drawn. has proven help develop their skills, it is particularly suitable groups.
